From the Kitchen

We believe our mise en place begins in the community.

We draw our inspiration from the seasons and celebrate the diversity and quality of Gippsland’s produce by capturing it’s peak and treating it as simply as we can.

The way we see it, we’re all in this together. The decisions we make and habits we set, will affect how we and our children eat and view conservation in the future. It’s our responsibility as Australian’s to promote environmentally positive processes now so future generations have that same opportunity.

 

We want you to learn with us as we strive to reflect the community we live in and showcase the Artisans therein. Either way, a good feed and a cold drink certainly never hurt anyone.

From the Floor

Our mission front of house is to take you, our guests, on a voyage.  Let us guide your culinary journey showcasing not only the wonderful food produced from our kitchen but the exceptional Gippsland wines, beer and ciders that will compliment the experience.

 

Our location on the Port Albert waterfront is the perfect vantage point to take in the living history of this very special part of our region. From here you can see where the seafood you are dining on is procured and immerse yourself in the rich history of Gippsland's oldest Port. 

 

Our walls are adorned with paintings by renowned local artist Warren Curry chosen from an exhibition which tells of the story that is Port Albert.

Please, sit back, relax and let us share with you all that is great about our special little part of the world.
